Learn to hem jean and keep original hem the easy way.

Below are some sewing tutorial on how to adjust jean length and how to shorten denim pants. Sewing machine is useful to do this sewing alteration, but some sewing alterations can be done by hand. So, anytime you are looking for jeans hemming hacks, below are few sewing alterations tricks to help you with the adjustments.

Jeans too long – sewing alteration with regular sewing machine

I am sharing this easy sewing tutorials with simple to follow instructions, on how to easily fix too-long hem on jean, and to make the length customized to your hight!

It is best to decide on the desired length first. I would recommend to do this before you start the hemming alteration process.

This sewing alteration can be done by hand. As a result, it is useful when no sewing machine is available.

Great! In my opinion, straight leg jeans are the easiest to hem. There is no need to let out too narrow side seams of the bottom legs. Nor no need to take in the side seams of the flare jean bottoms to accommodate the excess fabric.
