To secure the ripped hole even better apply fusible web to the effected area on the left side of the leggings.
Fusible web aka interfacing, is a flexible and lightweight material with glue on one or both sides.
For this repair, I recommend applying the one that comes with the glue on one side.
How to apply the fusible web or interfacing:
- Cut a piece approximately the size of the hole you’re fixing (bit bigger is better – not smaller)
- Place it over the fixed hole on the wrong side of your leggings
- Make sure the glue is directly “kissing” the repaired fabric area
- Iron press it (set the iron temperature appropriately to the fabric) Good practice is to cover the interfacing with a piece of cotton cloth to prevent any incidents of getting glue on the iron.
- Use the stem option if your iron comes with it
- Enjoy!
